Well,
I'm a 21 year old dude from PMB (known to many as sleepy hollow), Studying a Bcom, ECON & HRMG and I've just started a non-degree major in digital design.
I love being active and feeling fit, and at the moment Row for the UKZN men's A VIII crew.
Apart from my first love, Photography, I also love singing and playing music when I can (mostly for the Church).
I Love my Photography, and though I've spent 4 years of my life working through a Commerce degree, I'd love nothing more than to spend the rest of my life seeking out and taking amazing images. I just feel there's something so magical about being able to see something that takes your breath away, and instead of just locking it in the vault of memory, we as photographers can capture that image, its beauty and essence, to share with the world.
For me, Photography is less about art and more about emotion. Sharing moments and grabbing hold of fleeting memories. In a sense I'm incredibly hedonistic because Photography just makes me Happy!
I'm by no means Ansel Adams, Nick Brandt, or even a photographer of half the calibre of those two icons, but I enjoy what I do. And I hope that in time, with practice and patience, I may get close to the perfection they've achieved.
